I've been too busy lately, so I had to give up the idea of adding daily entries to my blog. I will of course keep trying, but at the moment I'm writing here less frequently than I'd really like.
Because of this, I've decided to at least to a weekly Solaris mini-digest of mine, where I'll be giving you a short list of interesting Solaris-related pages mostly found on blogs.sun.com.
So, today I recommend you the following list (you've probably read most of it already, but still):
-
Build/Install OpenSolaris - a wonderful article on compiling OpenSolaris by
Rich Teer - an author of the
Solaris Systems Programming book.
- Fintan Ryan, paying attention to every details as usual,
is sharing his wisdom on creating SMF-manifests to manage
mysql and
apache.
- Adam Leventhal has written a very interesting
blog entry on DTrace'ing Java-applications following the course of his
recent JavaOne presentation.
- Liane Praza has yet again decided to tell us few more secrets of inner workings of the
smf:
Assembling service for boot with smf
